About
The Traffic Section responds to all traffic crashes, plan and coordinate traffic safety at special events, and conduct traffic education to local secondary schools. The Traffic Section is also in charge of the City’s Red Light Camera operation and School Crossing Guards.
Objective
The Traffic Section’s main goal is traffic safety and education in an effort to save the lives of motorists and pedestrians. The use of visible traffic enforcement can have a positive effect on overall public safety, including the reduction of vehicular crashes, criminal incidents, and other forms of social harm.
