Violent Crimes Unit was created to have a specialized unit responsible for investigating Robbery, Assault and Battery cases that are non-domestic related. The Unit is comprised of six investigators supervised by a sergeant. The Unit’s detectives are trained in violent crimes investigations.
Objective
The objective of the Violent Crimes Unit is to arrest those responsible and to remove violent offenders from the streets making our neighborhoods safer and reducing the rate of occurrences.
