1. Will the Police Department access my cameras whenever they want?

No, the Police Department will only access your cameras when there is an reported indication of criminal activity that is occurring, has occurred or is about to occur in the field of view of the registered cameras.

2. Is there any special equipment that I need to participate in the SafeCam Program?

Your cameras must be compatible with the Police Departments Video Management System. Please look at the cameras list provided. 

3. Is there a fee associated with the SafeCam Program?

There are no fees associated with the program. 

4. Can I cancel my alarm monitoring company after I sign up for SafeCam?

No, it is strongly urged that you DO NOT cancel any current monitoring. The purpose of this program is not designed to supply security monitoring.
