The City of Miami Gardens and CareerSource South Florida launches its Summer Youth Employment Program. The program will assist youth between the ages of 15 to 18 gain an understanding of the workplace and appropriate employment skills by linking them to employers for work experience and career advice.
Through this initiative, eligible youth residing in Miami Gardens will earn $13.88 an hour for 140 hours including 20 hours of Work Readiness Skills Training.
