Operations Units

Traffic Section

The Traffic Section responds to all traffic crashes, plan and coordinate traffic safety at special events, and conduct traffic education to local secondary schools. The School Crossing Guards also report to the Traffic Supervisor. Click here to learn more.

Canine Unit

The Canine Unit consists of a Sergeant and K-9 Officers who work with dogs specially trained to seek out illegal narcotics, explosives, and assist in searching buildings and tracking criminal suspects. The Canine Team is used to locate missing persons and provide back up to road patrol officers on calls. Click here to learn more.

Intergovernmental Section

The Intergovernmental Section, which consists of one Captain, one Sergeant and Community Enrichment Team (CET) officers, specialize in working closely with community members, local organizations and citizens to identify problem-solving measures to address issues and concerns an effort to improve quality of life.
